In this video, I go over the difference between doing dips for targeting chest and dips for targeting triceps.

To target your triceps, you want the bars closer together. Focus on keeping your core tight and chest is out (not forward). As you lower, drive your elbows back and press back up squeezing with your triceps.

To target your chest, you want the bars further apart. Focus on leaning your chest forward, face should be looking at the floor as you go down. Go as deep as your shoulders allow, press back up and repeat.
