What’s up what’s up! Today I’m gonna show you how to make my most favorite, go-to glute exercise even better. In this video I’ll be taking you through THREE hip thrust variations that actually work.

If you’ve followed my channel for any period of time now, you’ll know that I love hip thrusts. Contrary to popular belief, the squat IS NOT the best exercise for targeting your glutes – the hip thrust is. It’s not just great at hitting your glutes, but it also puts less stress on your knees while – in my opinion – being much easier to learn as compared to other compound lifts like squats or deadlifts.

However one of the biggest drawbacks is the set up. Getting the bar over your thighs can be a serious struggle. So right now I’m going to show you how to set up the barbell hip thrust if your plates aren’t big enough, plus three non-barbell hip thrust variations you can use to mix it up as you work on getting stronger.

Regardless of which exercise you choose, each of these variations is designed to make it easier for you to bring hip thrusts into your life. I honestly believe – actually I KNOW – that if you’ve been squatting, deadlifting, and doing all the “traditional” booty building exercises while not getting the results you want, then adding in hip thrusts will make a huge difference.
