The Yogurt Diet is formally and in details described in the book by Ana Luque titled “Yogurt Diet”. As stated, in just three days this diet can make you lose up to eight pounds. The effect of this diet is based on the probiotic benefits of yogurt that promote the health of the intestinal flora. Food is digested faster and it helps the body get rid of toxins.

This diet should not be practiced for more than three days in order not to damage the body’s need for fiber and vitamins.

When food is digested thoroughly, it improves intestinal and general health. The intestinal flora is composed of different bacteria that live in the human digestive tract that have a role in protecting the body from infection. Imbalances can occur due to stress, severe illness, use of antibiotics and poor diet. It is recommended to drink up to 2 liters of yogurt every day.

You can also eat fresh fruit and meat, and you should avoid sweetened yogurts. According to the version of the book written by Ana Luque, you should not consume only yogurt, it is recommends also to eat foods from a permitted list.

This is one example of the yogurt diet for three days:

The first day

For breakfast eat a fruit yogurt or plain low-fat yogurt with cereals. For lunch, on olive oil stew vegetables and mix it with rice. Except for salt and pepper, other seasons are not allowed. For dessert, eat a fruit yogurt. For dinner before bedtime, eat a salad with ham or carrots. Mix it with low-fat yogurt.

The second day

For breakfast, eat cucumber salad with yogurt. For lunch, bake turkey in olive oil, and as a side dish you can have mushrooms, tomatoes and peppers mixed with yogurt. For dinner, mix wild berries with yogurt and eat.

The third day

For breakfast mix cheese, apple, cinnamon and salt (if desired) with yogurt. For lunch fish fillet with salad, yoghurt and cucumber (you can add mustard). Diner should be 100 grams of pasta with added chopped peppers and one boiled egg, and add yogurt to your plate.
