Dairy Free Desserts: Apple Crisp

Holiday season bake something healthy and delicious for your family and friends, gluten-free dairy-free Apple Crisp. I hope you enjoy this recipe!

Dr.Vikki’s Granola –

5 Organic Fuji or Granny Smith Apples
1/2 Cup of coconut sugar or honey
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 tsp of organic vanilla
1 3/4 cup of Dr. Vikki’s Granola

Method:

Add a cup of filtered water and sliced apples to a medium saucepan.
Now add 1/4 cup of coconut sugar, 1/2 cup of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp of vanilla.
Cook apples on medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until apples have begun to soften.
Once cooked, add the apples along with all the liquid to a medium size glass dish.
Top with Dr. Vikki’s Granola (link) and sprinkle 1/4 cup of coconut sugar or honey on top.
Bake in 350 oven for about 20 minutes or until granola is golden. Serve by itself with coconut ice cream or coconut whipped cream.
