The 3 Reasons:

1) Your Diet – you will never out train a bad diet. If you go to the gym and work your ass off, but don’t eat the proper foods you won’t ever achieve a low enough body fat to see abs.

2) Your Training – make sure you actually implement an ab routine into your workout program, I like to do them at the end of my workout for 10-15 minutes.

3) Not Training Properly – in order to train your lower abs properly, make sure that you are engaging the lower abs in the exercise. Focus on shortening and lengthening your rectus abdominals. If you are performing a laying exercise like shown in the video, be sure your butt comes off the ground to get a curvature in your lower spine which will fire your lower abdominals.
